To overcome this problem, BKI together with LPPSP of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of University of Indonesia, and the local government initiated the application of biodigester technology. This biodigester system is expected to convert livestock waste into biogas that can be used for daily needs such as cooking and lighting.

The activity involves training selected local residents on how to operate and maintain the biodigester system. In addition, the newly built biogas processing facility will ensure efficiency in the renewable energy production process.

"This transformation is a step forward in livestock waste management and the provision of clean energy. In addition to reducing environmental impacts, biogas produced from the biodigester system can improve the quality of life of the community by providing an environmentally friendly energy source." - Head of the TJSL Unit of BKI
